In the Bamboo Forest

The Wednesday drawing group gathered at the bamboo nursery for a couple hours this morning. It's an interesting site: over fifty different kinds of bamboo in a place where you wouldn't expect to find any at all. A variety of colors and textures everywhere you look, and if that's not enough there's a pond with cascading water and a field of water lilies. I'm concentrating on quick sketches, and there was definitely enough to keep me busy.
