Tillie the Loggerhead turtle goes home!

Tammie, a Loggerhead Sea Turtle, was released back into the ocean today. She is about 40 years old and weighs more than 250 lbs. Her carapace was injured by propeller strikes, and she spent a year recovering. Her life expectancy is 70-80 years.  I was so happy that I was there to witness her release!
