What A Day!

I did not sleep well last night.
The spare bed in Bag's house is too short and has a big wooden foot end so I can't just let my feet dangle over the end.

The monsters weren't too bad before going off to school but PD wasn't keen on going for a decent walk and insisted on making up his own weird route. His route took us through a new bit of woodland with some strong shadows ……… and a fungus that reminded me of helter shelter.

I did a bit more tree pruning and have just about reached the point where I am going to have to resort to the chainsaw.

There was another reluctant walk after lunch which I then followed up with a trip to buy some leather …… which may (or may not) end up with a commission for some turning.

In the evening The Cygnet headed off to cubs and I headed off to a craft association meeting.
When I got back The Cygnet was acting up and not ready for bed. Not a good sign. He then went into total meltdown and lay under his bed screaming and refusing to speak. Half an hour later he had calmed down enough to speak to SWMBO. He was just over tired and is obviously missing his Mum already.
I suspect getting him up for school in the morning could be 'interesting'.
