First Day Selfie

OK, there were better photos (and even better selfies!) than this today, but this is Us CleanSlates walking no.1 son to his first day at Secondary School.

It was a time of High Nerves but Mr CleanSlate distracted admirably by talking of All Things Fortnite & Ni No Kuni, which seemed to ease the process a little. He also obligingly continued the distraction technique by getting told off at New School for circumnavigating a barrier and entering the car park. All in a day’s work.

Anyway, no.1 son returned, happy and chatty, a few hours later with tales of a New Friend and Garlic Bread and a teeny handwritten timetable that is to be treated as Very Precious. So far, so good.
