Smoke signals...

Lola had an early, short walk this morning before David headed off to meet up with Kenny and Adrian for a round of golf in their neck of the woods.

Agnes picked Ele up and they arrived at mine just after 12.30.  We headed to Broadslap for lunch, enjoying the lovely sunshine on the way.  On the way out this cloud formation caught my eye and reminded me of smoke signals :-))

We headed back to mine for more coffee and chat and then dinner.  We we settled in to watch GBBO.  Even that didn't stop the chat (although it was GBBO related :-) and were still chatting when David arrived home just after 10pm.

Despite ALL of that chat, Agnes and Ele were only gone five minutes when I announced "oh no, I forgot to tell them about ........!"  David merely shook his head that after a full day of chatting, there was still much left to say :-))
