As I was taking a picture of this, a large van mounted the footway behind me at some speed, evidently taking the presence of the vast car transporter to signify that no human-scale activity was welcome in the area. Around the corner, a large car was parked just where it could completely block the footway. Later on the way home, a motor bicycle rushed along the Restalrig cycle path, returning after I shouted at it, but still moving too fast to get a photo.
