Chimps

Went to the Zoo today for the first time in a very long time.

Our friend is the head top chimp keeper person, and is basically in charge. She let us feed the chimps, which involved standing on a balcony and throwing bits of fruit and veg everywhere. Which is actually pretty fun. She gave us a bit of a tour and told us about each of the chimps. Meanwhile small children looked on from behind the locked glass doors wondering why we were so very privileged. I felt a little bad.
But then promptly got on with lobbing some more bananas and watching the chimps go mental.

Zoo also featured monkey huddles and a content panda.

A little trip into Glasgow in the evening for cousins 30th. Nice to catch up with family.
