A view through the car window. 

We took the cross country route home, partly for the scenery as we were in no rush  and also to avoid the 5 mile roadwork section of the A1.

Had to wait ear Leyburn while this tractor and trailer turned around ........ I think the high load wouldn't fit under the overhanging tree branches. Much more interesting though than being stuck in slow traffic on the motorway. A later view in extras.

We stopped in Hawes for a drink and light lunch at Wensleydale Creamery before continuing the journey home.
