The Street Lantern

I was experimenting at dusk and liked this scene as the sky darkened and the lantern on the corner offered a little light.  The extra was taken as a neighborhood runner turned the corner at the light which illuminates his streak of clothing as he picks up his speed. The contrast between the speed of the shot and the runner makes it look a little like he has several legs.  Comments as to whether or not the ideas worked as you see the two photos are welcome.  Both are better in large.  Thanks.
