Mean machine

Went out to Cramond this morning to help test ride two tandems, this one and a second, recumbent tandem. It was brilliant fun. We rode out, two of us on one tandem, one by himself on a second tandem and another on a "normal" bike but carrying my bike behind him on a trailer! We must have been quite a sight.

I couldn't actually fit on this bike. I tried sitting on the front but when the pedals were brought close enough for my feet to touch, the chain dragged on the ground and we didn't have a chain tool to remove links. We then tried swapping round, Dave went on the front and I went on the back but apparently it looked, and I quote - "ridiculous" and to be fair, I could hardly see over Dave's head and as it is a rear piloted tandem, it might have been a bit of a liability! I managed to film the two guys from the back of the other tandem though so I made myself useful.

Cracking day for it, but very cold.
