2 Difficult 2 Gauge
Another day split between the orchard the paint brush and taking Badger for his first MoT and boosters.
The above come from an old tree which was of unknown age and variety when we purchased the house. We believe it to be a Green Gage rather than a plum but not sure. What we do now is that it is very difficult to gauge when to pick them as they seem to ripen from the shoulder down and the Wasps seem to have got to most of them what ever time of day you look! Its fruit when you get it right are delicious fresh or in a crumble so the battle continues year on year.
All the raw plaster from last weeks making up behind the electrician coated with thinned first coat. The last ceiling is due to be done on Thursday, not sure how long before lights will be fitted as the electrician has had a nasty motorcycle accident and has excessive soft tissue damage to his face. Looks very painful.
Take care one and all.
