Day 12

Stopped for a break and a walk here at the Three Bridges, over the Tweed in the borders.  A beautiful day, perfect weather, blue skies and sunshine.  Lovely.  Saw the first ladybird I have seen for years!  We seldom get them in Orkney and so it was quite a surprise.  

Got to Aberlady, parked up on a nice site, and Mike noticed that the campervan left front tyre was completely bald!  It passed its MOT just a week before we came away, but the wheel was out of shape, with canvas and wires showing too!  A bit of a shock to say the least!  A trip to National Tyres in Haddington and a new pair on the front - two lads who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.  Excellent service, they even sorted out the windscreen wiper!

A lovely meal in Aberlady in the evening.  Still lovely and sunny so we sat outside with Ollie, then back to the site for an early night.  All this excitement is exhausting!  We are running out of steam!
