78!

Woke up this morning on my birthday to an email picture of balloons from a relative …I thanked her and said alas, there would be no balloons here.   Well, H and I took the double alden out for one last row on the water before putting it away and what should we find floating in our bay but this dolphin balloon!   (still some helium in it)   Happy Birthday! :-)   And then we saw some other  AQUAMARINE stringy thing and went to salvage it..the first extra.   Then we  took a turn around in the inflatable kayak that our sailing friend left for us to try..… it’s pretty cool (2nd extra) but seems a bit of work to inflate many compartments.    Now all the boats are stowed away and I”m packing up the computer so will try to post this early.    Probably no birthday cake on the ferry…but hark we have 2 dinners OUT this week in Seattle with out of town friends…. so plenty of time for cake.    Back to the city. (Hope to get some blip catchup there!)  How did I get to be so old anyway?  Always glad for another year… ! Life is good...
