Aphids on the Cosmos

The wonderful vibrant display of Cosmos, by the Mini Golf in the Lower Gardens, hasn’t quite given up. It still looks beautiful, but when you look a bit closer some of the flowers are now drooping and dying. And when you look very close, you see this poor plant is under siege, by hundreds by TINY APHIDS

Overnight Bournemouth has been returned to us ‘locals’. There are always tourists around, but today there was little traffic and the centre was quiet. The hospitality workers are all pleased to have some respite at last.

I’m making some headway and catching up with your recent blips, but my eyes are starting to close, so I think it’s time to pack up for tonight.
