Behind a Painted Smile

I made a rare foray into the city today for a few errands and a haircut. Next to the hairdressers is a fish shop which has diversified into poultry and sandwiches. It has this colourful character on the pavement outside. Don’t be fooled by the cheery smile - it might distract your attention away from the large cleaver in his hand.
