I've been on Haringey Council's website to check the dates when the last weekend festival of the year is on (22nd & 23rd Sept) - apparently, all these festivals are enjoyed by residents and festival-goers alike and the council spends all the money on the park.
As far as I can see they planted a few shrubs and added these boulders.

Aresholes and liars, the lot of them.
