Edafest Day 4
Another day, another park!
It was cooler and a bit damp this morning so, apart from a quick trip to the shop, I thought we were settled in for the day.
A good breakfast and nap, then play and lunch, she ate it all, then off for a nap again, just what Granny needed! She woke earlier than expected and the sun had come out. So I texted Grace and said we would walk down Glos. Rd and meet her from work.
We met at the venue where Eda will celebrate her first birthday with her friends in a few weeks time. Grace just wanted to confirm a few things and then we walked up to St Andrew's Park which is behind where Grace and John lived in a flat.
A lovely play area and of course Eda had a swing where she met another little girl who is one in two weeks time. Here she is smiling at mummy because she is blowing in her face.
There were lots of other things to play with but the ground was covered with sand which Eda dislikes! With help she made it to the play balls. Perhaps we should pop some little shoes in the pram next time.
(Exactly 2 weeks ago I blipped Eda with the Walker. I was holding it firmly so that she didn't roll back or forward. Now she is happily walking back and forth with it across the rug. Not tried it on the wooden floor - think that will be a bit too fast!)
PS changed the picture to a cheesier grin!
