Quarry quandry

Ive been a bit hit and miss with my blips and commenting lately.......am trying to catch up :-)

Slept pretty well, woke up to grey skies and drizzle, not what was forecast!

We had already agreed to get out today, so headed to Quarry Bank Mill, which is not too far from where we live....I hate to admit it, but have never visited until today :-0

A good decision, really enjoyed all the history, walking through all the Mill rooms, including their weaving shed. Nostalgic as this is a job my Dad did many years ago!

Took lots of shots, hence my quandry, but decided I liked this one best......all threads and bobbins!!

Ive added a couple of extras, one of the actual mill from the gardens and the other, a shot of the Church in Styal village.

There is a roasting chicken smelling rather nice that needs my attention just now :-)
