The Apothecary

I managed to persuade His Lordship to accompany me to Portobello this morning to see again the painting I liked on Saturday in Venue47 of the Porty Art Walk.
We generally have the same taste in art, so it was more of a foregone conclusion that he would like it to. A cheque was exchanged for a red sticker and after an enormous slice of sponge cake filled with cream and strawberries, baked especially for us by the artist we were happy to wend our way home, lighter of purse but buoyed with creative inspiration. We may have plans for the seaweed printed rice paper hangings which impressed us so much.........

Apart from the art on display, I liked these old medicine bottles reflecting light on the window sill.
