Had many bird blip opportunities today :)

The day started off with Hadida's teaching their young to fly. Got a few blips and then this little crested barbet landed right in front of my lense! So I blipped him too :)

While talking to my sister-in-law later afternoon, I heard the birds going crazy outside... by closer inspection I saw a massive owl on the thatch roof of our bbq area... needless to say, I ended my conversation in an instant (hehe) and ran for my camera. Unfortunately the light was very poor and I had to use a very high ISO.

Besides the fact that the owl is beautiful all over, his eyes, legs and claws impressed me the most! MASSIVE! Wow.... will look out for him again tomorrow :)
