la reine

evie and luca were sent outside to start sweeping up leaves. we have 7 big lime trees in our garden which are great for shade in the summer - and a b*gger for shedding leaves in the autumn....

as I was getting my boots on to go out I heard Luca shout "quand même tu n'es pas la reine!"*

luca was battling with the rake and a mountain of leaves and mademoiselle was just sitting back in a pile of leaves playing with a stick......

I must also mention that I cleaned the interiour of the car today. that may not be very noteworthy for many of you but here it is an event (I even washed the seats). and I'd just like to say to renault that those 'very handy' storage pockets may be great for hiding items out of sight but when you have small children who, it appears, like depositing whatever they have to hand in them they are a very bad idea. suffice to say eating is now banned in the car for the foreseeable future (like until they are about 30).
