Hummmmmmm

......a Hummingbird Hawk Moth.......I heard it long before I saw it.

I usually see them much earlier in the year and this is the first one I've seen this year ........he didn't hang around long, so this was the best shot could get of him.........I hope he comes back again to give me another go :-))
