last day of the holidays

We had the nieces today and decided a trip out was required to mark the end of the summer break. Back to the zoo we went! Antony commented that it wasn’t as stressful as you’d expect being in charge of 5 children.... but quickly recognised that it might be more challenging on a permanent basis. (The correct conclusion as far as I’m concerned)!

Eve was a bit of a diva and then came back to the car with me ahead of the others as I needed to change and feed the baby somewhere vaguely warm. As we walked she burst into tears because she was going to miss us (well mainly Isaac) when she’s in school. We came up with a few things to look forward to but I was kind of heartbroken on her behalf. She’ll feel much better when she’s been in tomorrow.... and we’ll find out how things are with a new head.
