Calming

Trying to stay busy and occupied . IsleMum and family are Constantly on my mind.Hate the fact I can’t do anything, feeling helpless.
So today to keep busy we went to Inverness to return the Rug Doctor that we had hired out at the weekend. A glorious sunny day which warmed up nicely once the sun was out.
Bought a few bits from Tesco including a lovely jug with Butterflies.I needed some hoops for Brownies but they were too expensive so left them.
On to Dobbies for breakfast and a look at the plants.They have a good selection and we were tempted but did not buy anything.
On to hobbycraft for a couple more canvas bags for Brownies.Dunelm for new sheets and duvet cover.
Mike wanted some more decking applicator brushes which were just £3 from B&M stores so we travelled to the other end of Inverness and luckily they also had some hoops for just £1 so I bought quite a few for a fun game at Brownies tomorrow.
We looked at the canal , lovely and calm and nice reflections.Quite busy at Merkinch , a few new signs up .The Dolphin Spirit boat had just come out into the Firth.Two of the adoptive Dolphins, Kesslet and Rainbow have both had calves recently.
Stopped at Avoch on the way home for Mike to have his haircut.I sat on the wall in the sunshine, found a colourful Black Isle ‘love on the rocks’ decorated stone. I’ll keep it for a while and then rehide :)
More tidying up when we got home.
