My delightful discovery

Each year I have amaryllis around Christmas time and cannot wait for them to open up - the flowers are fantastic.  Each year I try to save them hoping that they will flower again.  This year I placed them all in the greenhouse and forgot about them until a neighbour told me I should cut all the leaves off.  So I did and some weeks later what should I find but a NEW BUD growing.  I cannot wait again to find out what colour this will be.
