Looking up

Things are looking up... given that we woke up this morning to no hot water and all the fuses blown in and around the boiler. Great start to the first day back with the children at work today! Oh and L had another restless night even though her temperature is normal and her cold is less now.

Thankfully my dad was able to have a quick look this morning and give his plumber a call who, amazingly popped in to assess the situation. Thankfully we do not need a new boiler (yet... maybe one or two years left in our antique model) but rather a new pump and valves. Phew! Hopefully fixed by the end of the week.

We have ended the day with a tank full of hot water, which is a massive improvement on this morning.
