Very busy day... but generally went well. Am finding it increasingly difficult to keep irritation about a particular person under check and a meeting with them this afternoon took all my powers of restraint, but at least we got the outcome we needed.
Met up with A at the end of the day and we went to Panda and Sons for a cocktail, then walked to meet Tricia https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4383759 for dinner. We went for the hot seafood platter (shame about the lighting in the restauarant but I think its magnificence still comes across in the photo!) and we had a jolly good catch up - about her career directions, grandchildren, public speaking, Australia, children’s careers/lives and puppies. Lots of laughter and chat...made me realise how it’s been too long since I saw her. Got a cab home - we’d walked enough today!
