The end of the willowherb
The forecast return to summer didn't happen here. I believe it's a beautiful day in the Western Isles though.
After the rain decided to stop I thought I'd better do a bit of a walk so I went up the Gowan Hill, one of my favourite parts of Stirling for a wander. Otter wasn't so keen - poor old thing's showing his age. Every bit of vegetation on the hill was festooned with cobwebs and raindrops. A few hardy visitors had ventured out to the castle and there was a smattering in the town but it was pretty quiet overall.
Tonight it'll be courgettes and apples from the garden and potatoes from A's allotment. Autumn.
