Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish.
Fergus had a good run along the base of the dunes. He was off his lead when we passed a lady who had four dogs and he went off to meet them. All good, he can run away if he gets fed up or feels trapped when they gather round.

We sat at the seat at the back of the beach and watched the waves breaking on the beach, then made our way back along the sand to the car park.

Since it was such a nice day we drove up to Glenbarr and had lunch sitting outside in the little courtyard formed by the village shop and the cafe building with an apple tree and the big hothouse completing the sheltered area.

Later Apothecary was applying gesso to some paper. Art work will ensue.
