Yorkshire apple scone

As I'd been given a few cooking  apples yesterday I thought I'd make a recipe from my Yorkshire dalesman magazine, been wanting to try it for ages. It was easy to make, you need to prepare apples quickly  and squeeze with a little lemon juice before they go too brown. When baked could resist a slice topped with some cream ....Yorkshire heaven!
