comfort break

We left Selby in bright sunshine this morning but by the time we hit the Tebay Services on the M6 a few hours later the rain had set in.  

We're staying in Cockermouth for a few days in a friend's house.  It's been years since we've done self-catering and we're a bit overwhelmed by all the delights on sale in the Tebay farm shop.  We've stocked up on enough home-made pies, quiches, cakes and sweeties to last the week.  Nothing for breakfast though.  Let them eat cake?
