Up early with Mx then after breakfast walked with them up to the shops to buy some provisions for the cooking/baking I was doing for desserts for this afternoon’s ‘party’.
Round to K’s for a chat and catch up and AR as usual chasing around screaming with excitement as ‘Torch’ (as she calls Andy!) chased her. SHe was full of ‘why?’ questions this morning - first time I’d heard her do this and is surely the beginning of the next big developmental leap. Meanwhile Mx is very confidently walking around the furniture or with his walker (extra). It won’t be long before he’s off....!
Over to A&N’s and we sat around in the warm sunshine as they cooked pizzas (still some difficulties getting the oven going but once established the pizzas were great!), we all chatted (about property development, careers, fire tending, wall building etc) and ate and drank. Lovely relaxed way to celebrate after yesterday’s excitement.
Late home....these two were wiped out!...and S and I got lost on the way back but had a nice countryside tour!
