Rehearsing

Sunday 2nd September 2018

At 8am this morning I was on the coach with our choir on the way to Liverpool Cathedral. They, along with a few "extras", were standing in for the Cathedral Choir today. It was a wonderful opportunity and experience for them all, especially the children, who have only been in the choir a year. 

This was their rehearsal at 9am. Then, after a quick drink, it was time to get ready for the main service. I had also been invited to robe and take part. It was wonderful sitting in the crossing listening to our choir, the sound was beautiful and I was very proud of them. They did well and many people commented afterwards how good they were. The've come on a long way in the last couple of years with our new Choirmaster. Today was such a tremendous privilege. 

After dropping the adults back at church we took the juniors to Pizza Hut for a treat.
