JuxTATposition

Today we made the return cycle trip to the junk shop in Prestonpans, as was promised on 28th June 2018. Nothing was purchased (it wasn't really a shopping trip), but we did enjoy looking at the goods on display. I was tickled by the juxtaposition of the royal wedding commemorative plate and the snowglobe, as blipped.

On our way home we stopped off at Prestongrange museum for coffee/tea and a cookie. Here the staff were preparing for a day of World War 1 commemorations. There were women dressed up as suffragettes, which was a little spooky for me because I dreamt of suffragettes last night.

Back at the house again I returned to the Massive Study Sort-out. Amongst some photographs I found a letter that I wrote to Mr hazelh in 2006, when I was working in London. I cried my eyes out when I read it: I was so homesick for him! (He read it too, but appeared unmoved.) I am pretty confident that the sort-out will be completed tomorrow.

Exercise today: 21 mile cycle ride.
