Port Solent Dredger.
Glorious day without a cloud in the sky and rather warm with it.
Feeling better than yesterday so took ourselves for a short walk down to Portchester Castle.
The dredger is used to keep the waters deep from the Port Solent Marina almost up to Portsmouth Harbour itself. There is always a lot of 'traffic' on the water here and it is well maintained.
I have put in a couple of extras. The tide was incoming and these rivers of algae looked quite spectacular as the water was changing them from light green to dark green.
The other extra is part of the moat around the castle, sadly it does not go round the whole circumference of the Castle any more.
Hope you have all had a nice weekend.
Take care.
