St. Mary's Church, Witcombe
Booked a Sunday lunch with a well known restaurant chain as we had a 40% off voucher which expired tomorrow. Waited ages for our drinks to come, and then a while more for our lunches. Had a nice chat with one of the regulars, Ray, while we were waiting. He told us he was recovering from a recent heart attack and then proceeded to eat a 10oz rib-eye steak! Other blippers might have taken his photo, but I'm not that advanced! When our bill came they didn't charge for our drinks, so £14 with the discount for 2 roast beef lunches was OK in the end.
Afterwards we had a drive to look for a reservoir which I had spotted on the map, but it seemed to be out of bounds. We did find this very nice church though. The extra is a close up of the white dove which was attached to the cross in the foreground of the main blip.
