Unexpected

I didn't expect to see a wild flower garden in bloom on the way to Muckross Head, but just had to stop & luckily we did, as by the time we passed on the way back, a constant drizzle had started.
The extra of the sanderling was taken on the 2nd lap of Fintra Beach, on the 1st lap, Bubbles got too close for my liking to it! Luckily it was quicker than she was & it was relaxed when I saw it again & took this photo.
Both look better large.
