No whales...........

........although I was up and looking at 7:00 this morning!! I heard one blowing but didn't see any. 
While I was speaking to the lady on the early morning whale watch, these gorgeous little splendid wrens were flitting about. They  are so cute and pretty . And super fast!!
So I was out and about for a couple of hours, back home to prepare for friends coming down tomorrow and then out to lunch for Fathers  Day with our daughter, her bloke and the littlest munchkins. The Driver had phone calls from both sons. One from his Italian holiday and the other from the hills near Perth. Nice! Lunch was pleasant although a bit "wankery" - a lot of money for little nosh but huge descriptions. The munchkins were intrigued that relatives of the pigs we were talking to, ended up on our plates. Its all about sustainability ie: they produce what they cook.
