Bejewelled

Sometimes the smallest things can surprise you with their beauty.
One of the things I wanted to tick off my to do list this year was to walk around Loch Leven. I have done short stretches in the past (mainly to Loch Leven's larder, or Vane farm for tea and scone) but today I finally did the whole thing, about 12.5 miles. It was overcast all day and so the path was pretty quiet with the exception of some cyclists. I did stop for tea and scone but only at Vane Farm. I've added a few extras.
I should also mention Mr M's success in a duathlon which took place in Newburgh today. He came 4th which is pretty amazing when you consider he is the wrong side of 50 and most of the other competitors were just young things.
