It has been a special day. This morning we headed off bright and early to watch our seven year old grandson compete in a gymnastics competition. 

He has only recently graduated from his recreational class to competition work as he loves the sport and is a natural. Already he has won a selection of medals and awards.

Today he achieved placings on six apparatus and also first overall in his level one class.

The collage shows Marcus with the medals he won today and performing a handstand in his floor exercise. 

We were certainly proud grandparents.
