The Fern Sculpture..

Wellington’s Civic Square original iconic “Fern Sculpture” orb was taken down in 2015. This was because it had developed metal fatigue due to Wellington’s relentless winds and had become a danger to the public. But the artisan who created that original orb has created a second orb. It is suspended over Civic Square and I think it is beautiful. Long may it be there giving pleasure to everyone.
