Wapato

This flower is on the Wapato Plant; it grows in the wetlands or along the shoreline of lakes or rivers. There were a mass of these plants in the shallow shoreline of a lake on Sauvie Island.

I drove over to Sauvie Island to see what birds were around; I watched an Osprey catch a large fish and I took a bunch of photos but none of them were clear. They would have been awesome shots if the focus would have been right...see the extra....it would be have been an awesome shot, right?
