Is it okay if I mention the "C" word?

This afternoon was spent in the delightful company of the loveliest lady I know. Our time was spent in the town centre where we encountered the annual Christmas display in front of John Lewis. You can't do it justice with a DSLR let alone a poxy cameraphone but this I hope gives you a taste. It has a train, a grotto, carousel and various other delightful things to amuse all those young and young at heart. Many people have developed a cynical view towards Christmas but I believe Christmas is what you make it. If you want to spend your time stressing about it then go ahead and do that. If however you can tap into the unbridled joy and enthusiasm of a child and keep everything in perspective then you stand a good chance of enjoying every moment.
