Bee on Potentilla

It's been a lovely day today and it was very pleasant playing bowls in the park. 

I keep a pair of outdoor shoes in the kitchen to pop on when I work in the garden. I put them on late afternoon yesterday and when I walked outside I felt a very sharp pain in my toe. I took the shoe off and shook it and out fell a wasp. The sting throbbed until this morning despite putting antihistamine cream on. Luckily it's fine now. I'll shake the shoes before putting them on in future!!
