Sosban at Sunrise
It was a beautiful sunset last night (top right) and an equally beautiful sunrise this morning (I took this at 05:45, posted it to weather watchers, back to bed and woke up to an Editor's Pick plus a e-mail for a win on the works lottery) - a great start to the day! Warm enough for shorts and t-shirts again today. The building in the sunrise picture is a former pump house and now a restaurant.
We had a nice chilled out morning and then lunch at Flanagans (view from the terrace) before walking to the leisure centre. The staff are incredibly friendly although they do have a very weird lane system - one "normal" lane which seems random and one double lane which is supposed to circulate, with overtaking in the middle. OK until you need to overtake the person overtaking the person who is drifting across the whole lane, and the water is murky so you can't see the other end!!
I needed some good wifi as my photos were getting a mess trying to synchronise with the very slow (0.1 mbps) upload speed in the flat! They have very good wifi and we got talking to the manager and he was telling us about the new leisure centre that is going to be built. It sounds amazing - it will be a health and well being centre that will have doctors etc., and open water lake, plus all the normal facilities. He gave us a map for the Tour of Britain on Sunday and we found out more details. They think there could be as many as 10,000 people. I'm not sure how they will cope with the cars as the road into Pembrey Country Park is not that wide, especially if caravans are leaving the Caravan Club site too. We will be on our bikes so not a concern for us.
It started to cloud over a bit this afternoon, but the sunflower was putting on a brave face!
