Daily Newspaper

When I used to commute daily by train into London, the boredom of the journey was relieved by reading a daily newspaper.

From its launch in 1986, the Independent was my newspaper of choice, partly because of its excellent use of splendid photography. Sadly, the photography no longer stands out and, in any case, photographs in the tabloid format have less impact than in the original broadsheet format.

I seem to have less opportunity these days to read a newspaper, but maybe a smaller paper with a briefer summary of the main news would suit my needs? However, I'm not sure that "i" is the one. I is not confident in their grammatical accuracy.
