Cotehele House and Estate
A medieval manor house with Tudor extensions and large estate in South East Cornwall now owned by the National Trust. M and I visited with Grandson T following a pub lunch nearby. The extensive gardens are nowhere near as attractive as in Springtime, but provided the means of walking off the lunch particularly the stretch down to the Tamar and along to the quay. The extra shows the upper reaches of the river towards Cargreen and the viaduct carrying the Plymouth - Bere Alston railway line. Nearly always low tide when we visit these places!
