the wheels on the bus...

Lovely to see an open top bus along the seafront in Southend this morning! Brought back many happy memories of getting the bus to school - open top buses were a great place for schoolchildren!! The council now use them in the Summer only between Leigh railway station and southend pier and they've proved to be very popular, as normally there isn't a bus route that goes along the seafront !

A warm, sunny day to bid farewell to August - already seen a garden centre with their christmas department fully open! very scary!!
