Sharp Eyes

Shopping this morning, in preparation for some chutney making tomorrow. I went next door to pick some of the damsons from their tree which has a staggering amount of fruit this year. It took me less that half an hour to pick over 6 pounds, and I hardly made a dent in them. We are off the the preview of Art in the Gardens this evening. It is an annual art show in Sheffield's Botanical Gardens. My artist friend usually exhibits there but  I was surprised to receive a ticket in the post from a Norfolk artist from whom I bought a print a few years ago.
I think this Sparrowhawk, which visited the garden this afternoon might be a youngster.
