Edible Flower Friday

Woke up early to ice these cupcakes for new friend Laura’s surprise birthday gathering.

It’s her first birthday in HK, and I wanted to make it special as I know how miserable I was on my first birthday in Belgrade away from home and my friends and family!

We’d organised lunch at our local Chinese, Peony. All went very well and it WAS a surprise for her! Yay. She loved the gathering and the food and I hope will have had a memorable first birthday away from home.
